Our experts

Design Distillery is made up of a dedicated team with a range of expertise to help your business achieve its marketing and advertising goals.

Guy Tillyard

Guy Tillyard - Director

After twelve years with London agencies working with blue chip brands such as McVities, Scottish and Newcastle, and Microsoft, Guy set up his own agency, GTM in 1998 with the aim of "carrying on the good work" on the south coast. In 2006, GTM acquired and changed its name to Design Distillery.

Guy has a wealth of strategic planning and project management experience, but it is creative direction ("coming up with the big ideas") where his real strength lies.

Jono Oswin

Jono Oswin - Account Director

With nearly 20 years of working in the marketing industry under his belt, Jono has a wealth of experience gained through his time within West End agencies, client side companies and running his own consultancy.

Having worked with Blue Chip organisations such as Esso, Texaco, United Distillers and Vintners and Toshiba, Jono joined The Design Distillery to fulfill his desire to use his expertise within the SME market, as this is where his strategic skills can have the most impact and make a significant difference.

Rachel Evans

Rachel Evans - Account Manager

After three creative years at the "all singing, all dancing" music media and arts academy charity "NGM", Rachel went on to study Linguistics and Marketing, furthering her passion for communication and the language of advertising.

Having relocated to Chichester last year, Rachel worked as the Deputy Manager for the Body Shop where she really learnt to sell her socks off to a customer base about whom she needed to develop a sound understanding! Her role involved her in strategic decision making, developing and implementing promotional schemes and running staff training programmes, all of which helped to achieve top 3 figures for the store for the South Coast region.

Working at Design Distillery gives Rachel the opportunity to put some of that Uni stuff into practice, and to develop her passion for the world of design and communication.

Paul Gander Miller - Designer

Having worked for a leading design, marketing and new media agency, with a varied mix of clients including Kuoni Travel Ltd, Lloyds TSB, Fujitsu and Telehouse, Nick was able to build upon his skills and gain valuable experience.

Nick joins the team at Design Distillery bringing new thinking and fresh ideas to the table and looks forward to working with existing and new clients.

Alex Stanhope

Alex Stanhope - New Media Consultant

Alex likes nothing better than getting stuck into the coding and design of websites and new media projects, and offers an unusual combination of artistic and technical expertise. He is equally at home with graphics packages and dynamic Web technologies. But Alex's skills are not just limited to the realm of the Web as he has acquired considerable experience in professional photography in a range of fields. Alex has also devoted considerable time to training the design professionals of tomorrow, altruistic chap that he is!
