Design Distillery has won another award for their latest internal comms campaign for Southern Water: The Pride awards run by The Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
Under the proposition 'Think Customer', the poster campaign is designed to remind Southern Water Staff that providing clean water for customers is the reason that they do their jobs. The posters are beautifully designed, intriguing and provocative. They present a series of everyday situations where customers are affected by what Southern Water does, from enjoying a morning cuppa and preserving wildlife to keeping roads free of roadworks and enjoying a hot bath whilst listening to Def Leppard!
On being presented the initial concepts, without knowing it, Mike James of Southern Water gave us our favourite-ever testimonial: "I have to say that was a brilliant meeting. Rarely has a design company given me exactly what I've wanted. Thanks again to you and Nick for your refreshing, outside-the-box work - almost as good as Susie's coffee."

Mixed in with branded gifts, intranet, text and newsletter messages and the introduction of two way communication and feedback techniques, where staff could ask question and suggest ideas, all added up a wide ranging and effective campaign."
